As Revenge of the Nerds’ Lewis Skolnick once said, “All jocks think about is sports, all nerds think about is sex.” He was right—in between computers and comic books, our dorky gay pals manage to cram in lots of cock and cum. And what’s not to love? Sure, fanboys may stand you up for Superman or skip sex to raid a village, but they can be some of the most adorable, oblivious, and horny fellas around.
So we were delighted to find some adorkable shots of nubile nerds from the 2009 Comic-Con. For you noobs, the Comic-Con is an annual fanboy mecca with as many spandex, muscles, and bulges as there are comic book artists, sci-fi actors, and zany promotions. Fans put a lot of work into their costumes so you’re seeing these boys at their best. Who knows? They might even be hotter in superhero costumes than in real life. On second thought, nah… we’d love to see the men behind the masks, if you know what we mean.

Homosexual comic book characters have a long and interesting history. It’s worth reading up on whether you’re a fan or just a gay guy. Think about it: comic books are a mainstream expression of fantasy life. It’s no wonder the men have such big muscles and such able bodies. In that way, it’s a bit like porn. But even non-heroic charcaters, such as Andy Lippincott from Garry Trudeau’s Doonesbury or Lynn Johnston’s teenager in For Better or For Worse, have brought censorship and death threats onto their creators simply for having the guts to come out first. Now that’s what we call real superheroes!
