I feel like a sex robot these days only stopping to recharge my batteries. Not that I have sex 24/7… but I’m nose deep in cock most of the time—LOL! I’m not complaining, Hard Friction has been a lot of fun shooting the way we want to. I spent this week directing and shooting my first movie for Raging Stallion, the rest of the week I’m photoshopping box covers. I get breaks when we travel, my last break I was naked on a beach in Australia.

There are so many things I want to talk to you about. But first, Tales of the Arabian Nights… sweet Allah, this movie looks incredible. There are so many hot guys in this, starting with you. Are you happy with the film?
Awww shucks. It’s a great movie. I was flattered to be asked be a part of the cast. The sets are gorgeous, the men are all stunning: We found a sexy guy from Turkey named Aybars… plus big stars like Francesco D’Macho, Wilfried Knight, Damien Crosse… also beautiful men like Angelo Marconi, Austin Wilde and David Dirdham. Its some of the hottest sex we’ve shot in a long time. Especially the orgy scenes!

I actually just met Wilfried Knight at Cocktails with the Stars in Los Angeles, wow is he handsome and genuinely a nice guy. And Francesco and Damien… well, that goes without saying along with the other guys too. They’re all stunning. Woof! So what was the set like on and off camera? My mind goes to all sorts of wonderful scenarios.

Is it true you also have a little more involvement than just being in front of the camera?
Yeah, actually I did more behind the scenes than in front of the camera: I shot part 1, and Chris Ward directed. You could say the tables were turned… director turned videographer is an interesting move. I had to turn over completely to another director’s vision. But with Chris, it’s easy because he’s so amazing. I learned so much! … also we have a similar approach to making the sex hotter! We work well together.
Good point, your films (or maybe its just you!) seem to have this extra voltage of sexual energy to them. In other words, you consistently make films that keep my jaded, over-porned-out eye interested and well… turned on. What’s the secret to that approach you and Chris seem to have?
Really we just want to show hotter sex… we don’t want to over work the models or treat them like machines, we pay attention to whether they are turned on… Chris and I both got our start as performers and we haven’t lost touch with what the models experience. That helps us get the performances were looking for.

Had you been wanting to be principal videographer on a film before or how did this happen with Chris Ward?
Bruno Bond and I shoot all our content on Hard Friction, but this was my first real movie. Chris was giving me editing lessons in the studio, he saw my camera work and said I was ready. It happened really fast.
The movie Hard Friction was crazy/delicious, good, hard sex. But it’s also important guys know there’s the Hard Friction website too. You know quite frankly, we’ve seen a lot of guys start up new sites that look good and seem to have the right formula. Hard Friction (and its sort of no surprise) seems to also possess that unique Cruz-formula sexual energy, I was talking about earlier. How did Hard Friction come to happen?
Chris Ward actually had the idea to partner with Bruno and I. He knew I wanted to start shooting my own content that I could edit my way. In the beginning the studio work felt familiar as I learned the ropes, but over time Bruno and I have adapted and our style is becoming our own… outside of the studio we experiment with different shooting styles, gonzo and pro-am. Our live shows are something totally different, a web-based sex variety show.

Okay, back to the movie… I heard a rumor that Hard Friction is having a sequel to its first movie coming out, true?
Hard Friction 2 ships April 16th! We are excited about this release, again it’s a collection of our best scenes to date… scenes with Alexsander Freitas, Derrek Diamond, Alessio Romero, Drake Jaden… so many hot guys. Its a 2 DVD set, disc 2 are scenes from our vacation in Australia. We shot disc 2 in various Pro-Am styles. There’s a gonzo scene with Remy Delaine that is pretty nasty hot! There is an immediacy and chemistry that you can get with just 2 or 3 guys in a room that you sometimes lose in a big studio production. We love it so much, we are launching a second line of DVDs called ‘Hard Friction Edge‘ series. Its a way we can feature unknown guys and amateurs just having great sex.

I’m intrigued… tell me a little more about the Remy Delaine scene?
Remy was interesting. All I knew about him was he was one of my favorite porn stars… we met and he had a sense of humor and he was very interested in doing a scene outside of a studio. Something that was more like a hookup. That’s what we filmed… our first webisode of ‘Hookups’. Remy even got to hold the camera while Bruno and I serviced him at the same time, fighting over his fat uncut cock. Yeah, the camera gets shaky when it starts feeling really good, but that is kind of the point!
Okay, not ruin the illusion that you and Bruno just have sex all day, every day… or film stuff with other hot guys. What’s the one thing most people probably don’t know about you?
We work really hard 24/7, both of us. But even when were working we have fun too… were always cracking stupid jokes. Besides that were a pretty normal couple, the highlight of our week is watching stupid TV. I clean the toilets, he does the laundry and cleans the cat box… were pretty domestic really.

What are you proudest of?
My ability to do whatever I put my mind to… I am pretty fearless when my ambition gets involved. I don’t think about what I don’t know how to do, I just learn how and get it done. Graphics, Web design, videography, editing… I guess I’ve always been that way.
What, if you could do it all over again… would do differently?
Hindsight is 20/20. Sure I have regrets but mostly they involve opening up my life to the wrong people. But I learned so much about myself in the process, and the only thing you can really change or control in life is your own behavior—how you react to things says a lot about you.

What’s your favorite song right now?
I’m listening a lot the the Amanda Blank LP I downloaded… also the Glimmers LP from a few years back… ‘Gee Gee Fazzi’, they do a sick cover of Olivia Newton-John’s ‘Physical’
Who inspires you and why?
The younger guys coming up… they inspire me to try to think outside the box and try to fit fresher ideas into studio productions. My mom, because she’s always pushing—in spite of the odds.
What’s the one thing that turns you on more than anything else?
Foreskin and a sense of humor are all I need to be happy…

In addition to Bruno, is there someone you’d love to do a scene with?
Sure. Variety is the spice of life. Everyone I work with for Hard Friction is someone I choose. The last partner was superstar Alessio Romero. The next crush will be my next casting decision.
