Has Jake Gyllenhaal’s Hairy Chest Been Outlawed By Hollywood Producers?

Much for his entire career Jake Gyllenhaal’s fabulous hairy chest has been a constant and practically deserves a co-starring credit along him. But to our collective surprise it has been conspicuously absent in his latest string of movies. The troublesome trend didn’t go unnoticed and many are wondering why Hollywood producers keep asking Jake to shave his manly chest. Of course we understand that for some movies it’s a requirement for the character, like his turn as a boxer in Southpaw, by for his latest appearance in Demolition, that premiered at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival, the shaving offense repeats and it’s not even justified by the story. Producers, is it too much to ask to leave his chest to go all natural for a while? There’s a silver lining, at least we got so see him bearded and hairy in Everest, but that movie seems to be the exception that confirms the rule.
