Plenty has been written, and surely more will be about the horrific events that occurred during the weekend in Orlando at the Pulse nightclub. We certainly wish we wouldn’t have to report such soul-crushing news but putting all the noise from the news outlets aside it’s important to rally the community and remember that in addition to the loss of human lives there are entire families that were impacted by this mass shooting.

That’s why QueerClick is endorsing, and by extension we’d like to encourage our readers to do the same, the official Equality Florida’s Pulse Victim Fund that has been established via this GoFundMe campaign and counts the City of Orlando and the National Center for Victims of Crime as overseers of this helping effort. In this short amount of time they have collected an impressive sum but the goal has not been met yet. Before making any donation, please make sure that you are doing it via the proper channels.
