Ricky Larkin Gets a Crash Course in Cancel Culture for his “Theory” on why There are few Black men in Porn
Ricky Larkin didn’t mince words about how he perceives the lack of black men in mainstream porn at the moment.
In a now deleted video, Larkin stated his skewed opinion on his reasoning on why there is no more than a handful of black men in mainstream porn. Unfortunately, what you delete doesn’t go away just because you delete it.
Reactions to his shocking views were swift, and justifiably, his fellow community of actors were not having it. Just read some of the reactions:
Whewwww I’d love to hear the rest of this, why’d this get deleted @rickylark1n? Your opinion of black men is not why black men aren’t in mainstream porn I can promise you that. pic.twitter.com/dWPT10xRfc

Black men in this industry are held to a much higher standard, meanwhile their white colleagues can look like burnt shit on the sidewalk. Let’s talk about it. Now I’m pissed.

So most “Major studios” (white studios) won’t work with us because we aren’t attractive enough @rickylark1n? What’s your definition of an attractive black man 🧐 I’m so upset by this comment not to mention extremely disappointed you’d say this….

I’m hurt and very disappointed he would say this – I’ve worked with him and had no idea he felt this way about most black men in the industry 😣🤦🏾♂️ https://t.co/yvRr1x0Pio

Just straight stupidity!! Like has he even looked in a mirror?😂

More straight white industry members thinking theyre opinions are valid. He called black industry members ugly and doesn’t think that’s offensive and think we’re twisting it? What school did he go too? so I know not to take my kids. Goddam.
