Rupert Penry-Jones is a hot and unfortunately straight British actor who played Adam Carter in the show Spooks. No, the show’s not about ghosts, it’s about spies and Penry-Jones just concluded his role on the show by dying in an explosion during the first episode of the seventh season. To commemorate his passing, here’s some delectable pics of Rupert in the buff. He’s got a nice uncut piece (gotta love the British) and looking at his body worked as a runway fashion model for British designer Paul Smith and looking at his body, we can see why. OK, let’s get the non-geeks up to speed on Torchwood. It’s a spin-off from the 2005 revival of the long-running science fiction programme Doctor Who (starring sexy geek, David Tennant). The series is set in Cardiff and follows the Welsh branch of a covert agency called the Torchwood Institute which investigates extraterrestrial incidents on Earth and scavenges alien technology for its own use. According to AfterElton.com, in Season Two, Captain Jack (John Barrowman) becomes involved romantically with Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd). The first season of Torchwood was already groundbreaking in simply having an out actor play the bisexual lead in a television series, much less a science-fiction action series. On top of that, the first season featured several male same-sex kisses, and one especially touching scene between two male characters. The fact that the second season has two men pursuing a relationship only cements the status of Torchwood as a revolutionary program that is boldly going where no other science fiction show has dared to go! At a recent science-fiction convention, John Barrowman (in the grey shirt, leather jacket, messed-up hair) kissed Gareth David-Lloyd (in the black shirt and boxer briefs). It’s great to see the real-life chemistry between these two men and pretty hot to see them kiss. At one point, someone asked the panel what their ideal christmas present would be. For some reason everybody seemed to be directing their requests (mostly for porsches) at John, prompting Gareth to hop on his knee. Later, the two men did a funky dance to the Torchwood theme and when someone asked what was their favourite part of their body, recurring actor, Kai Owen, showed his legs by stripping down to his black briefs. Not to be outdone, Gareth joined in, showing his very healthy rump and shapely gams in boxer-briefs.

The Future Sound of London: Papua New Guinea – You may remember this song from the soundtrack Greg Araki’s Nowhere. It’s a good track, ambient with good beats. Plus watching the computer animation may remind you that the art form is relatively new. Back in the 90’s video artists were just beginning to combine digital video with desktop computer graphic effects. The result is definitely dated, but truly tripped out. And if you’ve never heard the song before, it’s a goodie.
Hot Chip – Ready for the Floor: Seems like the lead singer of Hot Chip is has a split personality. He has turned into The Joker and has decided to toy around with his band mates using some nasty games like roundabout human Tetris, poison gift guess, and Russian roulette karaoke with a gun-microphone. Hey everybody… good news! Apparently, there really is someone for everybody. Very soon, the horse-hung Ice Queen of Porn, Michael Lucas will wed Richard Winger, an international businessman and President Emeritus of New York City’s LGBT Center. The two men will marry in a private Los Angeles ceremony celebrating the couple’s eight-year relationship. “I’m very excited about the upcoming ceremony,” said Lucas, “and I’m proud to be having it in a state that accepts our relationship. This is not only a declaration of our love, but as a way to show that gay people can marry just like heterosexual couples. While it’s difficult to believe these rights may be swept away by such ignorance, it’s moments such as this when we need to come together and fight for a cause.” “I have loved Michael for eight years, ever since we met at a Holiday Party,” added Winger, “and I look forward to reaffirming our love and our relationship.” The couple will use the event to host a fundraiser for Equality California, a leading statewide lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights and advocacy organization. Through their “No On Prop 8” campaign the group has been spearheading the fight against the homophobic Proposition 8 initiative, which calls for the elimination of the right for same-sex couples to marry.
Michael’s wedding is a good reminder that California gays still need your help! Support for proposition 8 is growing and gay activists are being outspent by almost $10 million, mostly because of the deep pockets of the Mormon Church. If you can, please donate to Equality California or No On 8—it’s easy, it’s simple, and it’ll make a world of difference. As for Lucas’ wedding, the event will be attended primarily by members of the adult entertainment industry. Makes you wonder how messy the all-you-eat buffet might be and how porn stars might party in the after-reception shenanigans at the hotel.
Following their nuptials in California, the couple plans to commemorate the ceremony with a gathering in New York City in November.

It’s not only a show about being true to yourself, but it also features a gay child (whose homosexuality is not a problem) as a lovable character. QC was lucky enough to catch up with internationally renowned male photographer, Dylan Rosser this last week at the New York City launch party for his debut book, X-posed. Above is a pic of the photographer holding his book alongside one of his breathtaking models (shown naked below). The party was quite an international affair in the upstairs private room of The Ritz bar; lots of handsome men with accents from around the world, some shirtless waiters and guests, and drink specials to keep everyone in high spirits. We met and spoke with Dylan who was nice enough to give QC an autographed copy of his debut work. And now, you have a chance to win Dylan Rosser’s signed copy of X-posed for your very own viewing pleasure! Some Brits are bent out of shape over a gay kiss on popular soap EastEnders. A romantic kiss between Christian Clarke (John Partridge ) and Lee Thompson (Carl Ferguson) on the British soap Eastenders has sent conservative viewers into a frenzy. More than 150 people griped to network BBC after character Christian and his new boyfriend, Lee, locked lips. One person griped: “I am appalled by the display of homosexual kissing…” The Daily Mail reports: “In a statement the BBC defended itself by saying it was down to parents to decide whether the content of the show was suitable for children to watch. But some viewers were left deeply unimpressed. One viewer wrote on the BBC’s Points Of View internet messageboard: ‘I am appalled by the display of homosexual kissing before the watershed shown on EastEnders. This is disgraceful whilst young children are watching and sets the wrong example.’ Another, Pat, wrote: ‘I had to explain to my seven-year-old son what was happening. He now thinks he is gay because he kisses his dad.'” Though some executives may have quaked in their boots, BBC came out against the outraged masses and released the following statement: “EastEnders aims to reflect real life, and this means including and telling stories about characters from many different backgrounds, faiths, religions and sexualities. We approach our portrayal of homosexual relationships in the same way as we do heterosexual relationships. In this instance, Christian is enjoying the first flush of romance and we’ve shown him being affectionate with his new boyfriend in the same way any couple would.” What can we say? When it comes to gay kissing, we’re all for it. As one pro-gay campaign says, “Some people are gay, get over it…”
Comedian Wanda Sykes and actress Hillary Duff helped make these two videos for Think B4 You Speak a campaign aimed at stopping young folks from saying “that’s so gay.” The 30-second spots use a light touch of humor to strongly convey a serious message. Hopefully, it’ll get other people to speak up to others in their community about unconscious prejudice. The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) has teamed up with celebs like Hilary Duff and Wanda Sykes to create PSA advertising to help curb bullying or threatening language aimed at LGBT youth. Think Before You Speak is a new campaign that seeks to educate young people about the harmful nature of associating negativity by saying “that’s so gay.”

Born August 4, 1981 in Perpignan, the French hottie is a freestyle and butterfly swimmer who previously held the world record in the 50 m freestyle in a time of 21.10 in short course (25 m), set in 2004 at the Men’s NCAA Division One Swimming and Diving Championships, for over two years. It was bettered by South Africa’s Roland Schoeman on August 12, 2006.
He most recently won an Olympic silver medal in the classic U.S. versus France duel in the pool in the men’s 400-meter freestyle relay.
