Porn Break: Hey Social Media… Is This Sexual Explicit or Sexually Implicit?

Sexual Explicit versus Sexually Implicit
This latest video post from YouTube’s sandnstrand000 makes us love this guy and his topics even more! In his latest post, he talks about being banned (again) on YouTube. That strikes a deep nerve with us! That’s because, your friends, right here at QueerClick were also put in Facebook jail (not allowed to post or comment) for three days because we posted this image:
Don't post this on Facebook!
Kissing!?
Yes, granted, we are undeniably a gay porn blog that celebrates sex and handsome men! Yes, we often link back to posts on our site. But we also understand the guidelines on Facebook about not posting “explicit” material.

Sexual Explicit versus Sexually Implicit
In our minds, that means generally no cock close-ups, no buttholes and yes, no fucking. We get it. And we are happy to follow the rules and in fact like the idea of celebrating men and our sexuality in other ways too. It doesn’t have to be graphic and X-rated to be sexy. But we never expected to be banned for two guys kissing!?
How is a romantic image in any way something that ever should be banned on Facebook? Gay, straight or two penguins??? It makes us wonder if human beings actually review any of these red flags that come up in their system? Is this an error of an poorly constructed image-recognition? Let’s hope so. Otherwise, it clearly seems every social media site, Facebook, Google+ or even Twitter has a very vague and biased system for controlling sexually explicit material. Yeah, I’ll say it: They all seem to be anti-masculine and anti-gay.
So, that’s why this video from sandnstrand000 is so relevant and makes a wonderful point! Is what we post sexual explicit? Yes, on QueerClick! (Hell, yeah!!) But no way on Facebook. To sandandstrand000’s point, we think that’s actually more sexually implicit and since when was that something that should be banned? And where the hell do you draw the line on that one?
But quit listening to us, here’s a far better explanation of the difference:

You can follow sandandstrand000 on YouTube here (and show your support!) and of course, we’d love it if you appreciated (and didn’t hate on) our non-explicit Facebook page too.
