Pornhub Traffic Trends Driven by Worldwide Events

We have been kept busy with a new-found obsession lately at QCHQ – Web Statistics! So when we came across what our comrades did with the amazing “Pornhub Traffic Trends Driven by Worldwide Events” Infographics (fully interactive we kid you not!), it didn’t take long before we jizzed in our Orlebra Browns.
As you were able to see, world events play a key role in the dips in traffic that Pornhub experiences, and we at QueerClick echo the same observations with our smut traffic! Take for example (see infographics image above) – When the world’s about to end, what do people do? One last wank, of course! #YOLO

The biggest traffic drop of the year was brought on by new year’s eve in 2012. Statistics showed that people actually do leave their homes from time to time, with massive traffic drops across the world! USA down 34%, Brazil down 36%, France down 60% and Argentina down a whopping 70%. [Editor’s note to Team QC: Perhaps we can issue a stop work order this year end? Haha!)

But oh lookey! The traffic rebounds strongly on New Year’s Day itself. Probably staying in to nurse the previous wild night and getting ready to face the world in the, shall we say, FAPPY NEW YEAR?
