Adult Tube Site XTube is Shutting Down its Service According to Reports!

After 13 years, reports are stating that the MindGeek-run adult content platform XTube is closing its doors very soon.

It’s gonna be one less porn site for us and one less big platform for adult content creators as Xtube is shutting down, as per website TNW who first reported the news.

Despite different outlets picking up the news, Xtube has not released any announcement through their social media channels. However, you will be greeted by the following statement upon signing in to your Xtube account if you have one.

The MindGeek owned adult site has been online for 13 years and they’re going to close the website permanently on September 5th.

The website has released a a FAQ page to cater to possible queries about the shutdown including premium memberships and payouts.

There has not been any official words from XTube yet about the reason for their shutdown. On the other hand, there have been speculations that this is related to PornHub’s deletion of over 10 million videos for their commitment to trust and safety.
