Why Did Chris Noth (aka Mr. Big) Moon A Live Audience?

Why Did Chris Noth Show His Ass And Balls To A Live Audience?
In Sex in the City neurotic hose beast Carrie Bradshaw endlessly pursues smug plutocrat John James Preston also known as “Mr. Big.” The actor who plays Mr. Big is actually named Chris Noth and comes from Scottish descent; which explains why he got onstage with Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, Jason Patric, and Kiefer Sutherland for a New York fundraiser called “Dressed to Kilt.” What it doesn’t explain though is why Noth decided to put his butt and balls on display for the audience to see. We’ve got the pics and some ideas of why he did it, after the jump!

Why Did Chris Noth Show His Ass And Balls To A Live Audience?
You can tell from the pictures above that Noth wasn’t the only Scotsman to moon the audience. If you look closely you can see Jason Patric’s tight hairy butt over to the left and Brian Cox’s beefy ass near the middle. But Noth’s nalgas are the only ones that offer a hint of his magic no-no hole and a glimpse of his ample balls. We assume the gents did it as some sort of big send off to the crowd at the end of the fundraiser’s kilt fashion show—”Thank you all for donating, now kiss our asses!”
Remember that scene in the movie Braveheart where the Scottish natives moon their English oppressors? That movie is as historically accurate as 2001: A Space Odyssey so mooning probably wasn’t an official taunting maneuver of the fighting Scottish forces. But it has probably always been a cheeky way to send off your audience, especially if you have the balls to do it, like Mr. Noth here.
