Split Identity: Model Universe 2012 Alan Valdez vs MuscleHunk’s Kevin Ramos

Model Universe 2012 Alan Valdez vs MuscleHunk's Kevin Ramos
LMS Star Kevin Ramos calls himself the ‘Fitness King’, and we have to add we can find no fault in that! Kevin’s ripped, supple physique is just plain healthy looking, a body to curl up into on a cold winter’s night (or a hot summer afternoon, or a brisk autumnal morning – and what about brunch?) In other words, handsome, hard and fit Kevin is a man for all seasons. In his debut MH appearance, he’s playing that office-guy-on-lunch-thing, but who cares? it’s mainly an excuse to see Kevin at his hard, handsome, and youthful best!

We bet he gets laid every 20 minutes. So get in line, and whilst you wait, check him out at MuscleHunks.

Sporno: David Pocock

Sporno: David Pocock

Sporno (noun): Sport played by sweaty, muscular men who are so off-the-charts fucking hot that the experience of spectating is akin to watching porn. Often, masturbation is required after or even during the experience. Welcome to the first installment of QueerClick’s weekly Sporno spot.

This week’s Sporno star is David Pocock, a gentle giant who plays the violently high impact game of Rugby Union. David is from Australia, where the game is popular (it’s also played in the UK, France, South Africa and New Zealand, but has never really caught on stateside). He stands over six feet tall and weighs in at around 230 pounds, so in other words, he’s bigger than your refrigerator.
He would probably kindly refuse your offer to suck his dick, even if you offered to lick the post-game sweat off his balls as part of the bargain, since he’s happily partnered with his girlfriend of seven years. And here’s the clincher: he’s gone on record as refusing to marry his girl until full marriage equality is passed into Australian law. Check out the clip after the jump to see him talking eloquently about his love for his gay friends and the need for change – all the while dressed in a dashing button down blue shirt.
Behold.

FLEX!!!

For your viewing pleasure, we’ve decided to post this very hot video of a young 400-meter sprinter from Britain flexing for the camera. The guy is obviously vain as hell, but hell, we would be too. His body is pure perfection. He likes showing it off from all angles and just when you’re about to tire of his torso, the stud strips down and shows his insanely muscular legs in a pair of stretch shorts. No matter whether you’re into musclemen or not, he is hot and knows how to work the camera. He also has another shorter video.

Wednesday Wrasslin’ Roundup: Ball Grabs

Fistfuls of joy!
Who doesn’t like a good fistful of man? Well, in this week’s Roundup, we present three short videos with musclestuds delivering low blows and loving it!

1) In this short but very hot video, a long-haired heel takes a cruel handful of jewels from behind. The screams and panting are a real turn on, as is the grappling. but just when you think the action’s gonna end, the heel hoists the babyface up by his balls and then tosses him to the mat, the victim’s hot ass in the air.

2) Two beautiful musclestuds in skimpy g-strings tussle for power, their amazing asses and bulging pouches on display. First, one grabs hold of the other’s balls, then the tables quickly turn, until one easily dominates the other in a series of beautiful submission holds (though we wish they were emission holds).

3) OK, so this video stops short of actual wrestling or ball-grabbing, but for those of you who love body worship and musclemen, here are two beauties oiling one another before their match. When one tries to go for the other’s package, he is denied and the pre-battle shoving, shit talking, and oil squirting begins—very sensual, very hot!

Reese Rideout Hula Hoops on Wii

Hula hooping naked is more fun!
Playgirl model and porn star Nicholas Ryan (aka Reese Rideout) recently posted a hilarious video of himself doing some hula hooping with his Wii Fit. It starts with his muscular bod in nothing but a g-string, but gradually improves as he gains speed, strikes poses, changes costumes, and even pulls out nunchucks and a riding crop. Too bad he didn’t do it naked and erect, but still a very hot and fun video!

Get Wet with the IGLA Champions!

I joined swim team for the uniform
You don’t need a pool to get hard and wet. Just feast your eyes on all the Speedo-clad studs who participated in the 2008 International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics Championships this June. This incredibly hot collection of athletes took part in swimming, diving, water polo and relays — maybe not the sorts of watersports you’re into, but still a great way to work up a sweat.
Thanks to Charlie of GaySports.com and Daniel Davids Photography for these great shots!

Embarrassing Illnesses – Testicular cancer

Testicular cancer’s the most prevalent cancer among men between 14-40 years old. One’s chance of getting the ball busting disease are about 1 in 250. Yet, most men still don’t talk about testicular cancer, let alone take the proper precautions to prevent it.
That’s why Britain’s Embarrassing Illnesses invited the Moseley Rugby team on to do a little how-to how-do-you do. Rest assured the cameras get up in there to cut through any cockamamie confusion.

Fit Talk: Weight Loss: Facts & Myths

Fit Talk
Myth #1: You don’t have to count calories.
Fact: Counting calories is important.
To lose weight, you definitely need to count your calories. Many people tend to underestimate their caloric intake (by up to 40%) and overestimate their calories burned through physical activity. Don’t rely on eyeballing your caloric intake or trying to estimate it. Instead, start writing down what you eat on a daily basis. Don’t just do this for the first day or two, do this everyday. For best results do this until your eating habits start becoming more refined, more nutritionally sound, and more regular. Better yet, do this until you have met your weight loss goals. By that time you should have a good idea of how many calories are in the foods you are eating and you should have an easier time measuring your food.
Myth #2: Eat three solid meals a day.
Fact: Eat 4-6 small meals daily (a snack counts as a meal).

How you take your calories in is just as important as how many you take in. To lose weight more effectively you want to eat 4-6 small meals a day. This way your body acts like a furnace and is constantly burning calories. Your body will be constantly burning calories because it will be constantly digesting the food you are taking in. So it’s not just how many calories you consume, but it’s also how you consume them.
Myth #3: Carbohydrates make you fat.
Fact: Carbs are necessary for a balanced diet.

Carbs don’t make you fat. Calories make you fat. Although I am in favor of lowering your carbohydrate intake and upping your protein intake – in order to lose weight – you should never cut out a whole food group. (You can up your protein intake to 50-55% and lower your carb intake to 30-35%, leaving your fat intake to about 10-20%.) Carbohydrates will help power you through your workouts, especially for aerobic activity (cardio) and for intense anaerobic activity (weight training). Proteins main purpose in the body is to supply amino acids to the body and repair damaged tissue.
What you should do is modify the carbohydrates you are eating. Stick with whole grain carbohydrates (oatmeal, whole grain pasta, whole wheat pita bread), they are less processed and will help you feel more satiated (full) even though they may have the same amount of calories as processed calories. Because they are less processed you will be geting more fiber in your diet – fiber is what will help you feel full longer. Also eat fruits and veggies: stick with color, the more color in your diet the better. Processed sugar is what usually makes you gain weight from carbohydrates.

Fit Talk: Gaining Mass for the New Year

Fit Talk
Happy New Year! I am currently in London, but I hope all of you had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and have had a great start to the new year!
Because some people had been requesting it, this week’s article is about gaining mass. This is very general and broad, so I suggest sitting down with a trainer so they can give you a more detailed explanation for your specific goals and your specific body type.
Gaining muscle mass is one of the most common goals for men, especially gay men. It is also one of the hardest things to do. I will cover the basics and essentials but it is a very complicated topic because gaining weight is easy, but gaining muscle mass – that is something totally different.
For those just getting started on your journey to a healthier lifestyle I highly suggest you employ a personal trainer to help you get started. Many new comers want to try things out on their own before seeking help, but the key is to first build a solid foundation (proper form, technique, how to progress, etc. etc.). Before bulking up, I suggest to start by getting in better shape first as to not over stress your muscles and body — this way you will prevent from burning out. If you have been working out on a consistent basis but have met a plateau you can’t seem to breakthrough, I also suggest hiring a trainer, especially if your goal is to gain mass. Having someone help to spot and push you beyond what you normally lift is imperative in gaining muscle mass.

Building your Glutes: 4 Steps To A Shapely Ass

Fit Talk
Since society has broken men up into two separate categories, either a “butt man” or a “boob man”, we as gays are somewhat left at a disadvantage, and can only really be “ass men”. We really can’t be cock men or vagina men because, well, we rarely ever get to see what one has hidden under those undies until we get into their bed…or car…or a bathroom stall. So we are left with what is visible from the get go
Since we as men are also very visually oriented, it is understandable why we would want a firm and round derrière. We want other people to take notice, and we want to be proud of our backside, even envied. The most eager bottom when confronted with a man who has a gorgeous ass, thinks: just for one night I could be a top or at the very least, versatile.
So here are some exercises and tips to getting a rounder firmer backside.
1) Squats: the foundation for building a gorgeous butt. They also work out the entire body as well, and because more muscles are being used in the exercise, more growth hormones are being released in the body to produce greater muscular gains. The key to doing a squat is to pretend you are going to sit down in a chair, or pretend you’re hovering over a public toilet that you don’t want to make direct contact with it. You need to stick your butt out, keep your feet firmly planted, push (keep pressure in) through your heels, and make sure your knees don’t extend pass your toes. It’s also important to keep your abdominals (core) tightened when doing this to protect your lower back.
mike_squats.jpg
2) Lunges: another great total body exercise, plus they get your heart rate up. If you are more advanced do walking lunges as it not only burns more calories but also makes the exercise more difficult. For the beginner, try doing them stationary so you get the movement right and really get a feel for the muscles that you should be working. Concentrate on keeping your steps moderate (don’t lunge too much or too little), so both knees should end up at approximately a 90° angle.
mike_lunges.jpg
3) Deadlifts: mainly work out your hamstrings, glutes, and lower back. The key to this exercise is to make sure you keep your back straight and slightly arched throughout the entire exercise. Keeping your core tight will help to accomplish this task. Rounding your back can cause some serious injuries. Just think of how you would arch your back when you’re in the doggy style position – that’s about the same type of arch and straightness you want.
mike_deadlift.jpg
4) Treadmill/Stairmaster: walking on a treadmill or on an incline will help to elicit some super glutes. the Stairmaster is also great for super glutes, just remember when you’re on the stairs to push through your heels and not your toes. Once you start pushing through your toes you start working your calves more than the gluteus maximus. Both of these are forms of cardio exercise so you will be working your glutes while burning off those calories and shedding off some unwanted fat.
Remember these are just a few exercises that can produce exquisite glutes but they are considered staples when it comes to working out your lower body and butt. The first three exercises don’t even require a machine, so all you need are some dumbbells or barbells and you’re already on your way to building a firmer and shapelier backside.

When Getting Smaller Is A Good Thing

Fit Talk
EDITOR’S NOTE: Please join us in welcoming Mike D. as our new fitness columnist. When we hear something is small on a man, it usually isn’t a sign of good things to come. Except if that something small is his waist. Then things are probably looking quite well, not just physically but physiologically.
With Christmas and the New Years upon us, there is a lot of temptation around. Holiday parties with cute guys, co-workers, and the like all around – not to mention the temptation of added calories from sweets and alcohol.
During these joyous and festive times, between November and December, people tend to gain about 4 pounds. Now this may not seem like a lot, but the weight gained is generally added weight that never comes off. We all set New Year’s Resolutions, but how many of us actually follow through with them?
I’m not saying we shouldn’t fall into temptation, but let’s limit how many times we actually eat, drink, or…sleep with it. There are a lot of health factors that come with weight gain, so why risk it?
Men with smaller waists tend to live longer healthier lives, and are likely to have a sex life to match. The smaller your waist the less likely you are to have health problems. The bigger your waistline, 37 inches or more (some consider that already too big), the more likely you are to develop type II diabetes, heart disease, and other physical health issues.
When you have a bulging stomach, you are impeding the function of a lot of your bodily organs. When fat is being pushed against your stomach, heart, and intestines, it takes a lot more energy and makes it a lot harder for your body to function properly. It puts added stress on your body’s systems. With a “gut” your body fat is also higher. With a high body fat percent you may already have or are on the road to having high blood pressure, high triglycerides, low levels of HDL “good” cholesterol, very high levels of LDL “bad” cholesterol, and clotting abnormalities. Not a good thing.
Physically someone with a bigger stomach is also more likely to have low back pain due to a lack of abdominal strength, and will have added stress put on their knees due to the extra weight being carried around. It can even cause erectile dysfunction. With a high body fat percent, high cholesterol, and or high triglycerides blood flow to “certain areas” can be hindered, causing a not so great sex life.
To lessen your chance of developing any of these health risks, keep your belly small. It will help cut back on many health problems that can arise later on in life, plus a more toned stomach makes for better eye candy. With a smaller stomach you are likely to have more confidence because you will feel better physically and mentally, your body will function more efficiently, you will feel more confident and less self conscious, and even have better sex!
The key to keeping your waist small and stomach tight is simple. Move more and eat less. You need to burn more calories than you take in, in order to reduce body fat. When exercising think total body exercises to burn more calories. Focus on strengthening your core, so you keep your abs and low back strong. This will help reinforce proper posture, giving you a leaner appearance by just simply standing up straight. Do moderately intense cardio for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.  Or do vigorously intense cardio 20 minutes a day, 3 days a week.  Your cardiovascular system will benefit from it by becoming stronger and more efficient, lowering your risk of heart disease.  Doing cardio will also release endorphins decreasing your levels of stress. And did I mention that for every 20-25 lbs lost you gain about an inch down there?
So get that body fat down, eat less and move more, lower your risk of heart disease and diabetes, keep exercising and doing cardio, lose those inches in your abs and love handles, and grow a couple inches down there! Now doesn’t being smaller sound better?
I will be bringing you more fitness tips and workout suggestions in the months to come, with some including photos and videos. If you have any questions about me, working out, or general health feel free to contact me through my website at www.mikedfitness.com.
Happy Holidays. — Mike D.
