Cody Cash: “Freedom is Priceless”

Cody Cash
Yesterday, QueerClick confirmed that Cody Cash was released from prison on parole. Today, Mr. Cash spoke to QC about life after jail, what he learned, and where we’ll see him next.
QueerClick: How does it feel to be a free man?
Cody Cash: It feels really good to be back into society and to be able to enjoy the finer things in life that I’ve missed for the past year and a half.
QC: What was the first thing you did upon your release?
CC: Well, the very first thing I did was bought a pack of smokes and a root beer soda. Then I called my manager, David Forest, so he could pick me up at the bus station and bring me to my new home. I had a great home-cooked steak dinner with a few beers and got a great night sleep. Finally!
QC: What did you learn during your time in prison?
CC: For the most part I learned that my freedom is priceless. And there’s nothing worth doing to put that in jeopardy. I also learned that I wasn’t doing this time on my own, it was a big disappointment to my family and I was sorry to let them down. They are damn happy that it’s over now.
QC: Lately there have been a number of porn stars headed to jail. What advice would you give them?
CC: Do something positive while you’re there. The programs are limited, but, there are some that are beneficial.
QC: What’s next for you? Where will we see Cody Cash next?
CC: Tonight, I’m shooting a scene with Braxton Bond for Chad Donovan’s new website, GetYourFixxx.com. If all goes well, Chad is casting me for a three-way in his big Jet Set Men production, “On Fire,” which he’s co-directing with Chris Steele.

UPDATE: We originally reported that this was Mr. Cash’s first published interview post-jail. Actually, the ever lovable and adorable Jason Sechrest beat us to the punch. We have corrected the post.
