Tim Burton’s Vincent: Seven-year-old Vincent Malloy is a lot like other little boys—he enjoys visits from his obese aunt, doing experiments with his toy dog, and digging around in his mother’s flower bed. But he also has a very rich inner life… a zombie slave and dead wife in a house filed with skeletons?!! He’s only seven! This short is touching, twisted, and troubling… and it’s narrated by Vincent Price! Awesome!
Wilkinson’s Family Restaurant: OK, this has totally got to be fake, but imagine if Marilyn Manson did spots for family eateries. Oh yes, it would look a bit like this. You have to wonder who the target demographic for this is. Most parents who live close to a mini-mall would probably run screaming into the local church for a fellowship meal rather than eat at Wilkinson’s.
Donald & Son’s Hardware: The Marilyn Manson look alike is back for more. This video is definitely a lot more twisted than the last. Are you brave enough to venture to Donald & Son’s Hardware for their 2-for-1 key special? Bwa-ha-haaaaaaaaa!
The Time Warp: The Rocky Horror Picture Show should be required viewing for all middle-school homosexuals. It’s got killer rock-and-roll tunes, gender-bending transvestites, and a muscleman creature awaiting birth in the laboratory. Combine that with all the classic tropes for a horror movie—a young couple breaks down in front of an old mansion only to be greeted by two creepy servants—and you’ve got a hit! In this scene near the start of the movie, Brad and Janet come in to use the phone, but find themselves the surprise guests at a special convention.
Sweet Transvestite: Between Brad and Janet, Janet’s obviously the smarter of the two. She knows they’re not in the Junior Chamber of Commerce… they’re in a retched sex trap set by the sexual vampire, Dr. Frankenfurter. Here, the good doctor, played by the inimitable Tim Curry, makes a grand entrance and lays out a plan to save the two (“I’ll get you a Satanic mechanic!”).
Lego Texas Chainsaw Massacre: If you’ve never seen the very scary Texas Chainsaw Massacre, then prepare yourself for a strangely effective animated version using Legos. Sadly, the horror stops just as the fun begins, but still an amazing achievement!
