Rocke Rathburne is another Active Duty Alum who debuted as an adorable, clean-shaven, bear-in-the-making. Add a full-on beard and reintroduce him as Ronin at Chaosmen and our handsome hunk transforms from cuddly into studly. An interesting footnote to consider: looking at the photos side by side, I get the impression the two shoots might even have taken place on the same day with the first stop at Chaosmen and later a visit to Active Duty. My theory is supported by the fact that the model (1) is wearing the same underwear; (2) has the same haircut length; (3) has the same body hair length; (4) has the same body muscle definition in both shoots.

From Clueless to Blue Steel

John Culver is the third recruit from Active Duty to totally “tank” his solo debut. His facial expression is priceless, and seems to be asking: “Dude, where’s all my body hair?” John later returns at Men.com, this time armed with a two-day growth, body hair and his “weapon of ass-destruction” to dominate Alex Mecum.

Markie More’s “About-Face”

Markie More is yet another performer who started out as a clean-shaven recruit at Ative Duty and kept his clean-cut look even after his move to Next Door Studios. As Markie began to add on muscle mass to his incredibly lean and shredded body, he also slowly began to add stubble to his look. Over the years, the stubbles have grown into full-on beards and other various lengths in between. Facial hair always looks good on Markie; even when he shaved his head, he had enough sense to keep the beard.

Colby Keller has always maintained his signature body hair and bush ever since the early days at Sean Cody. But he didn’t complete his look until his arrival at Randy Blue where he would change his entire appearance with a well-groomed beard. Side by side, the clean-shaven Colby Keller is almost unrecognizable – like that time Uma Thurman went without eye make-up and caused a stir.

“Dato’s Date with Destiny”

When it comes to Dato Foland, let’s be real: we’ll take him as he cums; with or without facial hair. Dato was gorgeous in his debut as a fresh-faced submissive muscle boy at Lucas Entertainment. A short time thereafter, he added manly stubbles to that already masculine face, and now we can’t imagine our beloved Dato any other way.
