2020: QueerClick's Recap of the Year Part 1 of 3: Top Reads of the Year

2020 took the celebratory expression “Let’s get sickening!” to a whole new level but in the worst way. Everyone was forced to adapt to brand new ways of living humanity has never really gotten to experience before. Immobilization has made people focus more on things we didn’t really pay attention to like ever before. This includes bad news and unfortunate events that were significantly highlighted more in times we were groping for some better ones. It has been a time of less glorification for resiliency and more on holding culprits accountable for social injustices.

We have witnessed catastrophic declines in employment and businesses. Sadly, the adult entertainment world was one of those greatly affected. Studios halted productions and just recently slowly building up momentum. Models turned to one another to satisfy fans’ cravings for content to brighten up a boredom-laden quarantining. It’s something we have never thought would happen to a once steadily strong industry.

With this endless loop of uncertainty, most of us have needed some kind of distraction, diversions to an alternate world we were once living in. We never forgot to still entertain ourselves cheer ourselves up every once in a while.
